Seven Ford Models Earn IIHS Top Safety Ratings

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) announced that seven Ford models were awarded a Top Safety Pick rating or better!

Both vehicles scored a rating of good in all six IIHS crashworthiness tests, the top rating in each category. The six IIHS crashworthiness tests include driver- and passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints.

To qualify for the 2022 Top Safety Pick+ award, Ford vehicles earned good ratings in each of the Institute’s six crashworthiness evaluations:

• Moderate overlap front
• Driver-side small overlap front
• Passenger-side small overlap front
• Side
• Roof strength
• Head restraint test
