IIHS Good Ratings for the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford Explorer

The Ford Explorer and the Ford Mustang Mach-E have earned good ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Of the 13 mid sized SUVs that were tested, the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Explorer were 2 out of 4 utilities to receive the good ratings! The Mustang Mach-E earned good ratings in every safety category, making it top scoring electric midsize SUV of all tested that day. The Explorer and the Mustang Mach-E (when equipped with specific headlights) are recognized as a top safety pick.
