Ford ‘America’s Automaker’ Strengthens Position

New 2022 data from S&P Global Mobility states that Ford strengthens their position as the number one automaker in terms of: hourly autoworkers employed in America, vehicles exported from America to other countries, and vehicles assembled.

Ford assembled more than 1.8 million vehicles in the U.S. in 2022. This is 130,000 more than the nearest auto manufacturer. Over nearly 80% of Ford vehicles being sold were assembled in the U.S.
Ford exported 260,000 U.S assembled vehicles in 2022 and approximately 1 in every 7 vehicles assembled by Ford in the U.S. is now exported to other markets.

Ford, being recognized for hourly autoworkers employed in America, they recently announced new U.S. jobs:

• Michigan assembly plant (nearly 2,ooo)
• Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon lake (appx 1,800 union jobs)
• Blue City in West Tennessee (6,000)
• SK On at BlueOval SK Battery Park Glendale Kentucky (5,000)
• Wholly owned subsidiary at BlueOval SK Battery Park, Glendale Kentucky (2,500)
• New third shift, Kansas City Assembly Plant (result in 1,100 union jobs)
