  • New Ford SYNC ® 3 navigation setting features breadcrumb technology which helps drivers find their way back to the pavement after off-roading expeditions.
The 2020 Ford Ranger continues to increase it’s off-road capabilities with the addition of a new navigation setting that creates a virtual breadcrumb trail to help drivers find their way back to civilization after an off-roading adventure. Drivers can enable this feature through the SYNC ® 3 navigation settings which can also be found on XLT and Lariat series trucks. Once enabled, the program will work in the background using satellite technology to mark the location of the vehicle every second once the driver is no longer on the road. The pins work together to create a virtual trail of breadcrumbs that will easily guide the driver back to the road. Drivers can venture as far as they please without the fear of wandering too far from home.
Along with off-road tires and off-road-tuned suspension, the Ford Ranger can also be equipped with the FX4 Off-Road Package which includes a Terrain Management System™ and Terrain Control™ among other helpful features. This Terrain Management System™ allows situation-specific traction depending on the type of land being traveled on. Also, the steel bumper with an available trailer hitch receiver makes towing of all types easier than ever before with a maximum payload of 1,860 pounds and a maximum towing load of 7,500 pounds.
The Ford Ranger offers Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and a Lane Keeping System along with many other features to increase driver safety. The Ford Ranger also has 9 different exterior color options:
  • Saber
  • Lightning Blue
  • Absolute Black
  • Rapid Red
  • Magnetic
  • White Platinum
  • Oxford White
  • Iconic Silver
  • Race Red
