With the U.S. Bureau of Statistics projecting jobs in science, technology, engineering and math fields will grow to more than 9 million by 2022, Ford is joining with Kode With Klossy to expand offerings of its free, two-week summer coding camps for girls. Ford Adding Electrified F-150, Mustang and Transit By 2020 in Major EV Push with Expanded US Plant

Ford today detailed seven of the 13 new global electrified vehicles it plans to introduce in the next five years, including hybrid versions of the iconic F-150 pickup and Mustang in the U.S., a plug-in hybrid Transit Custom van in Europe and a fully electric SUV with an expected range of at least 300 miles for customers globally.

Pedestrian Detection: Beware of "Petextrians"


Collisions can be caused not just by distracted driving, but increasingly, distracted walking. Every eight minutes, a pedestrian is injured in a motor vehicle crash, according to a recent report from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This rise is linked to a global influx of “petextrians” – people walking while texting.

Ford Aims to Reduce Traffic Congestion Issues with New Transportation Initiative
