WyoTech "Shagadelic Cruisin' Van" Custom 2016 Ford Transit - First Gear


Super fun to explore this custom 2016 Ford Transit for this episode of First Gear. This retro-styled "Shagadelic Cruisin' Van" was created by a team out of WyoTech Blairsville, based on an actual 1970s Ford design. Their custom creation has retro features like shag carpet and even a disco ball, but also includes modern amenities like television screens, a 20-speaker sound system, and customized lighting. Ford Adding Electrified F-150, Mustang and Transit By 2020 in Major EV Push with Expanded US Plant

Ford today detailed seven of the 13 new global electrified vehicles it plans to introduce in the next five years, including hybrid versions of the iconic F-150 pickup and Mustang in the U.S., a plug-in hybrid Transit Custom van in Europe and a fully electric SUV with an expected range of at least 300 miles for customers globally.

Ford "Ole Yeller" Mustang Shelby GT350 Raises $295,000 at Auction for EAA Youth Education and Aviation

Inspired by famous prop plane "Ole Yeller," Ford designed this one-of-a-kind vehicle for auction at the 2016 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 – the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration. Dubbed the Ford "Ole Yeller" Mustang, the car sold for $295,000, with proceeds going to benefit EAA’s youth education programs. Hank Menke, president and CEO of OFS Brands in Huntingburg, Indiana was the winning bidder.
